Operasi Helang 150B

Sumpah penat hari ni. From early in the morning I have to pick up all the aircraft maintenance representatives and we have to start continue doing reassembly of Eagle 150B. After a very long time I haven't doing maintenance activity, this is the time that I've been waiting for.

Unless you're in aviation industry, common people doesn't know how hard it is to perform maintenance on the aircraft. You need a good team players. Not only all members must be knowledgeable and skilful in doing works, your team member's physical appearance also does count. For example, of course we need tough guy ("abang sado" bak kata budak-budak SMSS sekarang) in the team in case if you have to tow the aircraft manually using a tow bar. You also must have someone with a small physical (not so small, kurus la senang cerita like me) because there are quite many areas in the aircraft that had a limited space for you to access. For example during the reassembly activity, I have to get half of my body below the aircraft's cockpit (a very confine area) in order for me to insert a bolt from inside under the cockpit so that the engine mounting can be secured from the outer side. Fuhh, berpeluh gua beb! Tergeliat-geliat badan. Dah macam gymnast plak.

Whatever it is, we managed to finish up all the work in accordance to the plan. We've achieved our target. Yeay! Unfortunately, we still cannot perform the engine ground run. It is because firstly, we still waiting for the fuel supply; Avgas (Aviation Gasoline). Secondly, we does not have an engine oil stock yet. A bit dissapointed for me as I really hope that today I can witness the engine ground run but it's okay. I just have to wait a few more days I guess. I'll try to take a video and post it later.
